Bacolod City now Alert Level 1 – DOH

Bacolod City – The Department of Health has further downgraded alert level of Bacolod from 2 to 1, while Negros Occidental remains at Alert Level 2, including five other provinces in Western Visayas.

All the Region 6 provinces and two highly urbanized cities are classified as minimal risk, according to Dr. Bea Camille Natalaray, of DOH- Western Visayas Center for Health Development.

The Average Daily Attack Rate of Bacolod City reduced from 2.53 percent to 0.59 percent per 100,000 population, with Negros Occidental from 0.99 percent to 0.30 percent, as of December 10, Natalaray said during a virtual presser yesterday.

The health care utilization rate of Bacolod City also further reduced to 12.46 percent and 29.44 percent for Negros Occidental.

DOH report further indicated that the two- week growth rate of COVID-19 in Negros Occidental and Bacolod City have been recorded at negative 49 and negative 77 respectively. (Gilbert Bayoran via The Visayan Daily Star (TVDS), photo courtesy of TVDS)
