Bacolod Alert Level 2 Guidelines Issued

Bacolod City – Daily curfew hours in Bacolod City will be observed from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. for the period November 15 to 30 under Alert Level 2, based on the guidelines issued by Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia in Executive Order 53.

Leonardia issued E.O. No. 53 in compliance with the directive of the National Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Infectious Diseases (NIATF-MED) placing Bacolod City under Alert Level 2 from November 15 to 30.

The mayor reminded the public that despite the downgrade, city folks should not be complacent.

The order said that for the Level 2 Alert Level System, selling of liquor, wine, beer or any alcoholic or intoxicating beverage in public places and the selling and/or consumption of such alcoholic beverages in authorized public places will be allowed only from 12 noon to 10 p.m.\

Intrazonal and interzonal travel into and out of Bacolod will be allowed subject to presentation of vaccination card of the traveler issued by the local government unit (LGU) of origin, Department of Health (DOH), Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ), or any government agency, national or international, authorized to issue such vaccination credentials, it added.

Travelers who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 will be required to present a negative RT-PCR test result obtained with 72 hours prior to arrival in Bacolod City, the order said.

Casinos, horse racing, cockfighting and operation of cockpits, lottery and betting shops, and other gaming establishments will not be allowed to operate, or be undertaken in Bacolod City accept as may be authorized by the IATF or the Office of the President, it said.

These establishments, or activities, will be allowed to operate or be undertaken at the following: a maximum of 50 percent indoor venue capacity for fully vaccinated individuals only and those below 18 years of age, even if unvaccinated; and 70 percent outdoor venue capacity. Provided that all workers of these establishments are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and minimum public health standards (MPHS) will be strictly maintained, the order said.

Offices of the Bacolod City Government will remain to be fully operational and will adhere to at least 50 percent on-site capacity while applying work-from-home and other flexible work arrangements. Office of national agencies, the judiciary, and other independent constitutional commissions may set their own on-site work capacities, it said.
