Three minors were burned to death when their residence were razed to the ground Thursday morning in Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur.
Municipal Fire Marshal Chief Inspector Dionisio Cayudong Jr, of Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur claimed the fire gutted the house of a certain Bimbo Betzusa wherein the three minors were trapped and were burned to death.
Cayudong identified the three minors as Marvin Betzusa, 3 years old, Clark Leen Jay Perolino, 4 years old and Princess Jenevive Betzusa, 8 years old.
The residence that gutted was the residence of the Betzusa family at Purol Talaba, Barangay Camanga, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur.
The house was easily razed to the ground as the house was made of light materials, Cayudong said.
Bimbo Betzusa, father of the victims claimed, they usually leave their children at the care of Princess Jenivive as he was working in Pagadian City, a nearby town of Dumalinao.
The BFP are still investigating the cause of the incident. The incident came three days before BFP’s fire prevention month, this March.
