₱291,550.00 Worth Of Smuggled Cigarettes Confiscated In Zamboanga Sibugay

Joint PNP elements of Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office-Intel Branch and Ipil MPS conducted Intel driven operation at Sanito River, Purok Saturn, Brgy Bangkerohan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay Province at about 10:30 AM of July 12, 2020.

This resulted to the seizure of one unattended motorized pump boat loaded with 833 reams of cannon cigarettes amounting to more or less two hundred ninety one thousand five hundred fifty pesos (Php291, 550.00). Subject confiscated pump boat was brought to Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Mobile Force Company – Seaborne Patrol Team while the smuggled cigarette also brought to Ipil MPS prior turn over to the Bureau of Customs, Zamboanga City for proper disposition.
