Some 12,000 residents of Tetuan led by Mayor John Dalipe and barangay chairperson Walmart Atilano join the Santo Entierro or Holy Burial Procession in the village Friday afternoon.
The Santo Entierro Procession, which depicts the moments after Christ died on the cross, was organized by the Tetuan Parish headed by Fr. Oscarlito Bisnar.
Per estimates of the police, some 12,000 devotees attended the procession as part of their Holy Week penitential rites.
With the mayor during the procession were PS6 Station Commander PMAJ Sonny Boy Perez, CJ Dalipe, EA Amado Natividad and other barangay officials.
