Fixed Vlvaccination sites have been established at KCC Mall in Gov Camins and City Mall in Tetuan to reach out more children during the implementation of Ligtas Tigdas: Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) from January 19 to February 13, 2026.
MR SIA is a nationwide campaign targeting children aged 6 to 59 month, with the aim of protecting children from measles and rubella.
The vax sites at KCC and City Mall started Saturday, January 24, and are manned ny City Health Office personnel.
Parents and guardians are urged to bring their children to the nearest vaccination site. Aside from the anti measles and rubella vaccine, children are also given vitamin supplements.
The MR vaccine is safe, effective, and free, and it is given by trained health workers who are committed to the well-being of our families,
