Dr. Lenny Joy Johnson-Rivera, DOH 9 Assistant Regional Director, said “DOH is encouraging these unvaccinated to limit their movement as not to get infected.”

She said they must limit their movement especially in the 3C’s or Close, Close Contact, and Crowded setting.

Their movement must also be limited because data also shows, some cases that experience the severe and critical form of Covid are those unvaccinated.

“Some of the cases we have nagkaka severe and critical are those that are unvaccinated. Yung asymptomatic, are the vaccinated nagpapatotoo ito na yung vaccination helps prevent severe and critical Covid.” Rivera said.

Because of these she is advising these unvaccinated to limit their movement and encourage them to be vaccinated.

According to Dr. Joshua Brilliantes, DOH 9 regional director, in the region there are still 1.3 million unvaccinated individuals when it comes to Covid-19.

In Manila and other cities, they are starting to limit the movement of these unvaccinated individuals to essential travels to protect them from getting the infection.
