?ZDS 72- A 58 y.o female, from Purok Pinya, Makugihon, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur. Admitted in a private hospital in Pagadian City last September 26 with admission complain of body malaise due to uncontrolled type 2 Diabetes. No history of exposure to a confirmed COVID case and no history of travel to other areas.
A rapid diagnostic test was conducted with an IgG/ IgM result. The following day she showed symptoms of cough and fever, thus naso/ oropharyngeal swab was performed that yields POSITIVE for SARS- COV-2
She is in stable condition and with discharge order from her attending physician. For isolation at the Municipal Isolation Unit for close monitoring once discharged.
Contact tracing and health monitoring by the local health authorities is currently on going.
