Zamboanga City Spend To Spend ₱2M For 2020 Christmas Decorations

The City of Zamboanga is set to spend more than ₱ 2 Million for the city’s Christmas decorations this year.

Engr. Rene Dela Cruz, City General Service Officer told RPN DXXX Zamboanga, “Maga ₱ 2 million plus el budget. Simple lang ahora el mga decors, hindi komo previous years.”

He added, they recycled the decoration last year with some modifications.

They already started decorating hoping to finish by the end of November.

Areas to be decorated are: City Hall, Plaza Pershing, Lanterns at the light post, and Plaza del Pilar. 40 ft. Christmas Trees will be placed at Plaza Pershing and Rotary Camins.

This year, the City of Zamboanga will experience the Paskong Pamilyang Pilipino for its yearly Christmas decorations for the year 2020.

This is celebrating the birth of our Lord by giving the people, the Filipino families hope in this time of pandemic.

For 2019, the theme of the city’s Christmas decoration was Mexican Style Christmas where it amounted to more than ₱ 3 million.

The City Hall, is the center of attraction both young and all especially during Christmas. The city’s center of government is fully lighted and decorated for the holiday season.
