The City Hall grounds are getting livelier every night since Dec. 1 up until Dec. 15 for the nightly Christmas Chorale Competition with the shimmering lights and Christmas display in the background.
The city government led by Mayor John Dalipe is inviting the public to witness and enjoy the nightly presentation themed “Festival de Navidad” and feel and experience the joys of the Yuletide Season with families, friends and loved ones.
Also part of the activity is the Inter-Barangay Christmas Village Competition from Dec. 4-15.
Upcoming events include the Once Islas Food Festival on Dec. 9, and the Golf Tournament (President’s Cup) on Dec. 10-11 at the Zamboanga Golf and Beach Park.
The Exposicion de Viajes de Zamboanga (Exposition of Tourism Destination and Products) is scheduled for Dec. 10-12 at 5pm at KCC Mall de Zamboanga with various competitions: Best Booth, Cultural Dance, Culinary and Regional Costume.
Motor race fanatics will get the chance to witness the 2nd leg of the Invitational Lega Motor Race on Dec. 17-18 in Cabaluay. (Vic Larato)
