Zamboanga: CBOC proclaimed winners in the May 9 elections for District 2

The City Board of Canvassers (CBOC) concluded its task midnight Tuesday, as it proclaimed winners in the May 9 elections for District 2, mayor and vice mayor.

This, after canvassing 100% of the election returns from 339 clustered precincts with a total of 209,552 registered voters.

Atty. Stephen Roy Canete, CBOC Chair proclaimed re-elected  District 2 Representative Mannix Dalipe (88,784 votes), Mayor – elect John Dalipe (130,940 votes) and

Vice Mayor – elect Pin Pin Pareja (98,270 votes).

Proclaimed District 2 Councilors – elect were Vino Guingona (73,929 votes), James Siason (61,953 votes), Lilibeth Nuño (60,534 votes), VP Elago (54,796 votes), Jimmy Villaflores (52,391 votes), Fred Atilano (52,224 votes), Jihan Edding (44,318 votes) and Eddie Saavedra (39,218 votes).

Winners for District 1 were proclaimed earlier Tuesday night.
