Another Zamboangueño was appointed to a national post particularly at the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) where he took hi oath Wednesday at DTI Central Office in Manila.
The Zamboangueño who was appointed to the national post is Christopher Lawrence Arnurco, who was appointed as Director, Export Marketing Bureau of DTI.
Arnuco said, he just wanted to thank everyone who made this possible especially his fellow Zamboangueños.
He already took his oath of office with DTI Secretary, Ramon Lopez.
Arnuco was the former Administrator and Chairperson of the Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone Authority (Zamboecozone) for six years.
At present several Zamboangueños are currently handling national post such as DSWD Assistant Secretary Jade Jamolod, Health Assistant Secretary Dr. Romeo Ong, Atty. Emilio Aquino of the Securities and Exchange Commission, GSIS President Rolly Macasaet, and Tourism Undersecretary Myra Paz Abubakar.
