Mayor John Dalipe’s goal of planting 1 million trees during his first term in office gets another boost, as 2,800 more trees were planted in sitio Muruk, Pasonanca Friday, May 31.
Todate, the total number of trees planted since the start of Mayor Dalipe’s term has reached 742,800.
The tree planting activity Friday held at the 4-hectare area at the SPZ Zone of the ASEAN Heritage Park in Pasonanca was the 11th forest restoration/ enhancement program conducted under the Dalipe administration.
Mayor Dalipe together with SK National Federation President CJ Dalipe led the more than 500 representatives from different local and national government agencies during the activity, organized by the OCENR.
