A shooting incident transpired at Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City where elements of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 immediately proceeded to the reported place. Upon arriving thereat, victim was seen lying lifeless and was identified as Mary Jane Isnari Iribani, 35, female, married, and a resident of Phase 1, Valle Vista, Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City.
Investigation revealed that prior to the incident; victim and suspect had an argument which was believed to be due to a third party. Victim was allegedly shot several times by her husband identified as Albar “Bong” Iribani, legal age, and a resident of Bogok, Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City.
Victim sustained gunshot wounds in different parts of her body that resulted to her instantaneous death.
Recovered from the crime scene were four empty shells and one fired slug of alleged Cal. 45 bullets. The Zamboanga City Police Station 6 conducted a follow up investigation for the possible arrest of suspect.
