Mayor John Dalipe and Western Mindanao Command Chief LTGen. Roy Galido Monday forged alliances to strengthen collaboration for the safety and security of Zamboanga City.
Mayor Dalipe and LTGen Galido discussed about security issues during the latter’s courtesy visit in City Hall where both expressed the need for the local government and the security sector to strengthen partnerships to achieve the goal of keeping the city and the neighboring areas safe from any and all forms of lawlessness.
The military officer vowed to continue support to other law enforcement agencies in addressing criminality and other illegal activities.
Mayor Dalipe welcomed Gen. Galido to Zamboanga City being the host city of the Western Mindanao Command, as he reaffirmed his unrelenting support to the security sector. He likewise thanked the WESTMINCOM through the Task Force Zamboanga under Col. Randolph Rojas for the dedicated efforts to thwart lawless activities.
Accompanying the Wesmincom chief during the courtesy visit in City Hall were Rojas and Col. Rogelio Gabi, Westmincom’s Assistant Chief of Unified Command Staff for Operations.
