Police operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 – Central arrested a 55-year old man during law enforcement operation against wanted person at Brgy. Sta. Barbara, Zamboanga City at 11:45 AM of October 21, 2020. PMAJ. Elmer P. Solon, Station Commander said that Edgardo B Bustamante, 55 years old, male, single, resident of Galvez St., Brgy. Sta. Maria, Zamboanga City was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued and signed by Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region Branch 17, Zamboanga City docketed under Criminal Case No. 20310 for Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition with no bail bond recommended and warrant of arrest for Acts of Lasciviousness issued and signed by Presiding Judge of Municipal Trial Court in Cities, 9th Judicial Region Branch 1, Zamboanga City docketed under Criminal Case No. 55335 with bail bond of ₱ 36,000.00.
He is now under the temporary custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 1-Central prior commitment to concern court. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
