The town vice mayor of Municipality of Mabuhay, Zamboanga Sibugay was shot dead with two others while on conversation at the Municipal Hall grounds Friday afternoon, February 26, 2021.
P/Capt. Edwin Duco, Police Regional Office 9 Spokesman said, initial police report claimed, the victims were Vice Mayor Restituto B. Calonge, Engr. Edgar Pampanga and Hadji Abduhari Gapor.
Vice Mayor Calogne and Engr. Pampanga suffered fatal gunshot wounds resulted to their instantaneous death, while Hadji Gapor was brought to a nearby hospital.
Duco said, based in initial report the three were talking at the grounds of the Municipal hall when the gunman approached and shot the victims while they were having conversation.
The suspect fled after the incident and boarded a motorcycle to an unknown direction, Duco quoting report from Mabuhay Municipal Station.
