Mayor Pablo Yves L. Dumlao II and other Heads of the National Government Agencies and Local Government Units attended the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council Meeting last Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at the Provincial Governor’s Conference Room, Capitol Road, Surigao City.
The meeting was presided by the Hon. Robert Lyndon Barbers, the Provincial Governor of Surigao del Norte. During the meeting, the exchange of views on addressing the drug problem in Surigao City and Surigao del Norte were highlighted. Also, the council assessed the number of drug personalities in every municipality and city of Surigao del Norte and discussed and determined interventions to eradicate drug issues to attain a secure and drug-free community in the province.
