Surigao Port Front-Liners Get Disinfectants, Face Masks From NGO Partner

Surigao City – Frontliners serving the Port of Surigao again received assistance in the fight against the spread of COVID 19, courtesy of a Church-based Non-governmental Organization (NGO).

Gallons of 70% isopropyl alcohol and boxes of surgical face masks were given for the use of port front-liners were given today by JPIC representatives led by its Project Director, Reann C. Mantilla. Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaign materials on the fight against Human Trafficking were also distributed.

A faith-based and inter-denominational NGO promoting economic and social justice for the marginalized and disadvantaged sectors of the Philippine society, JPIC is a much-valued partner of PMO Surigao, particularly in the campaign against Human Trafficking.
