The Oplan Estero Clean-up Drive was able to clean a part of Purok Perlas, Nueva Basin Waterway, where a total of 15 cubic meter of mix waste was collected.
The residents of the area were encouraged to join the clean-up drive to mobilize estero communities, get them involved, and implement plans to maintain the cleanliness of the water basin.
This is a joint activity led by our City Environment and Natural Resources Office with its Acting Head Raul B. Tarpin, City DILG Director Robert Patayon and Barangay Taft led by Captain Pablo A. Bonono.
AKHRO Fraternity Members and aspirants for Surigao City Adventure Eagles Club also helped during the operation.
