Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City—— Former drug surrenderees in-charge of a drug den were nabbed in a joint drug operation of Butuan City Police Station 1 and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 13 yesterday, November 14.
Police Brigadier General ROMEO M. CARAMAT, JR, Police Regional Office 13 Director disclosed that the drug operation led to the dismantling of a drug den in Barangay Villa Kananga and apprehension of the suspects identified as Jake Chavit, 26; John Paul Mendoza, 30; Haryl Dagumyo Hallera, 22; Lhar Chavit Dumaguite, 35; Ronnel Castro Autor, 21 and Francis Rara Mendoza, 24 who were all drug watch listed.
Seized during the operation were 20 grams of suspected shabu with Standard Drug Price worth Php136,000.00, drug paraphernalia, and Php16,000 marked money.
“PNP Caraga will continue to intensify its campaign against all forms of criminality, especially illegal drugs, to ensure the safety and security of the people in Caraga region together with our partner agencies,” the region’s top cop stressed out.
The suspects are now in custody of PDEA Regional Office 13 and documents for violation of section 5, 6, 7, 11 & 12 of Art II of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are being prepared for filling in court against the apprehended suspect.
