Gitambungan ni Gov. Nilo P. Demerey, Jr. ang 6th Caraga Mining Symposium and Safety Competition nga adunay tema nga “Caraga Mining Industry: Moving Forward Responsibly and Take the Challenges” nga gipahigayon sa Philippine Gateway Hotel sa Surigao City.
Ang Safety Competition gipahigayon noong October 6, 2022, sa Provincial Sports Complex samtang gipahigayon ang Youth Convergence nga gitawag og “The Minerals Industry and the Youth of Caraga: Converging for the Future” sa Philippine Gateway Hotel karong adlawa, October 7, 2022. Adunay mga pakigpulong ug mga presentasyon gihatag sa Mining Symposium.
Naghatag og mensahe ang atoang kugihan nga Gobernador Hon. Nilo P. Demerey, Jr. sa maong kalihukan diin gipadayag niini ang iyang hingpit nga suporta sa Caraga minerals industry ug sa mga stakeholders niini. Midawat usab kini sa Plaque of Appreciation agig pasidungog sa iyahang partisipasyon ug makanunayong pagsuporta sa maong kalihukan.
Sa samang paagi, si Hon. Robert Ace Barbers, Congressman sa 2nd District sa Surigao del Norte, niapil usab sa maong aktibidad.
Ang Chamber of Mines of Caraga Region, Inc. ug ang Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office No. XIII, sa pakigtambayayong sa Caraga Mine Safety and Health Council, Community Relations, Education & Development Officers Organization Caraga, Inc., Caraga Mine Environmental Management Council, Inc. ug Philippine Society of Mining Engineers-Caraga Chapter, ang nanguna sa maong kalihokan.
