Shooting incident transpired at Sitio Tugop, Brgy. Paranglumba, Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte at 8:00 PM of December 14, 2020, wherein victim identified as John Mark Vicente, 30 years old and a resident of said place shot to death by unidentified suspect.
Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim was in the house of certain Roldan Eyo and other companions having a drinking session and when the victim was about to go home, suddenly an unidentified suspect shot the victim once hitting his left lower chest. The suspect fled away towards unknown direction.
The victim sustained lone gunshot wound was brought to Siayan Diagnostic Hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. Cadaver of the victim was properly turned over to his relatives for proper disposition.
PNP personnel of Siayan Municipal Police Station now conducted follow-up investigation to determine the motive and possible arrest of the suspect.
