Robbery/hold–up incident occurred at Bersales Heights Subdivision, Purok Makiangayon, Bulatok, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur at about 10:30 AM of December 14, 2020.
Investigation conducted by Pagadian City Police Station that the victim identified as Edmon Yu Tan, 46 years old, male, married, operation manager of Coca Cola located at Bulatok, Pagadian City and a resident of Bersales Subdivision, Purok Makiangayon, Bulatok, Pagadian City was riding his single motorcycle from Coca Cola Office Bulatok Pagadian City going towards Metro Bank Pagadian City for a cash deposit, but upon reaching at the downgrade portion of Bersales Subdivision, Purok Makiangayon, Bulatok, Pagadian City, one male person block his way, pointed a short firearm on him and declared hold-up while the other one male person served as back up.
Thus, upon declaration of the suspect, the victim accelerates his driven motorcycle to escape but the suspect shot the victim hitting on his left leg. The victim sought assistance at Camp Abelon, Lumbia, Pagadian City, and thereat, the victim was brought at Mendero Medical Center for medical treatment.
The suspects fled after the incident as no cash was being carted onboard on the undetermined single motorcycle as their getaway vehicle. Recovered at the crime scene was one fired cartridge case of Cal 45 pistol.
The Pagadian City Police Station is now conducting a follow-up investigation for possible identification of the suspects. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
