Shooting incident transpired at Purok 2, Brgy. Buayan, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay Province at about 9:00 PM of October 4, 2020 wherein victim identified as Ireno Subing-Subing Enriquez, farmer and a resident of Purok 2, Brgy. Buayan, Kabasalan, was shot to death by an unidentified suspect/s.
Initial investigation disclosed that the crime scene was unlighted and upon arrival of the victim outside his house onboard his driven single motorcycle, an unidentified suspect suddenly appeared from behind armed with caliber .45 pistol based on the empty shells recovered from the crime scene and suddenly shot the victim, hitting on the victim’s head that causes his instantaneous death.
Motive of the crime is believed to be personal grudge. Further, SOCO currently is conducting crime processing on the crime scene.
PNP personnel of Kabasalan Municipal Police Station are now conducting hot pursuit operation for the possible identity and arrest of the suspects. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
