ZCPO Now Has ₱12M PNP High-Speed Tactical Watercraft

The chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) turned over a PNP High-speed Tactical Watercraft to Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) Saturday night.

PGen. Debold M. Sinas, Chief PNP, said the watercraft is worth ₱ 12.5 million with modern equipment.

The watercraft has the speed of 40knots,  armed with machine-gun, can accommodate 12 persons, with GPS, and radio.

This was given to help in police operations especially to counter terrorism.

He also asked for the help of the local government to take care of the watercraft and to provide the fuel as well as the maintenance.

Sinas recalled, during his time they have to operate and get the pump boat of the enemies before they can have their watercraft.

The activity was graced by PMGen. Angelito A. Casimiro, The Director for Logistics; PBGen Ronaldo Genaro E. Ylagan, Regional Director, Police Regional Office 9 and Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar, City Mayor. (R.G. Antonet A. Go)
