Road crash accident transpired at Sitio Mala, Brgy. Panubigan, Zamboanga City at 9:00 AM of September 27, 2020 involving a Hyundai i10 color black bearing plate number JCR 9901 and raider 150 color black bearing temporary plate number 0901-528303.
Initial investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the Hyundai i10 driven by Miguel Castillo Gambalan, male, single, 62 years old, businessman, resident of Don Toribio, Brgy. Tetuan Zamboanga City was bound to Zamboanga City proper and upon reaching the blind curve at the place of incident, he encroached into the opposite lane that caused him to collide with the raider 150 driven by Aldrin Aranjuez Salenga, male, single, 22 years old, Globe Telecom employee and his back rider identified as Jomarie Azejas, male, single, 22 years old, EMT – ambulance driver, both residents of Brgy. Tugbungan, Zamboanga City who were on their way to Brgy. Curuan.
Both the motorcycle driver and back rider sustained leg fractures and were immediately brought to Cristino Paragas Memorial Hospital. They were later transferred to Zamboanga City Medical Center for further medical treatment.
Both vehicles were brought to the Zamboanga City Police Station 2 for proper disposition.(PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
