After more than a week since the death of the 90-year old, Pt. 46, additional 50 RT-PCR results consisting of 46 negative and 4 POSITIVE results were received.
Information on the New Positive Cases:
Patient 050 – a 27 years old female from Dipolog City with no history of travel. She is a close contact of Patient 047. She was swabbed on September 21, 2020. Patient is asymptomatic and currently in an isolation facility.
Patient 051 – a 103 years old female from Dapitan City who was a close contact of Patient 047. She died on September 18, 2020 and was immediately buried. She was swabbed on the same day.
Patient 052 – a 49 years old female from Dapitan City who is also a close contact of Patient 047. She was swabbed on September 21, 2020. Patient is asymptomatic.
Patient 053 – a 41 years old female from Dipolog city who is also a close contact of Patient 047. She manifested cough nd colds on September 19, 2020 and was later swabbed on September 21, 2020. Patient is now asymptomatic and currently in an isolation facility.
The public is hereby reminded to strictly follow health protocols and to remain calm of the situation. The local health department is also asking everyone to stop posting or spreading unverified news about the patients, medical staff and the like to avoid confusions.
