A retired army soldier arrested for case of Rape in Zamboanga Friday afternoon, police report claimed.
Police regional spokesman Police Capt. Edwin Duco claimed elements of Zamboanga City Police Station 8 (ZCPS8) conducted a law enforcement operation against a wanted person at Brgy. Calarian Friday afternoon.
The operation nabbed Renato Ebol Muhammad, 56, retired Phil Army, resident of Acacia Drive, Brgy. Upper Calarian, Zamboanga City by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of rape, Duco said.
The arrested warrant was issued by Hon. Judge Peter Eisma of RTC 9 Branch 15, with a recommended bail of ₱ 200,000.00.
Subject is now under the custody of ZCPS8 prior turn over to court concerned, Duco concluded.(PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
