Be informed that at about 4:35 PM of January 5, 2021, at Sitio Lupag, Brgy. Malintuboan, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte, intel operatives of Labason Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PSSg. Garry Burdago-TL conducted Anti-Illegal Cockfighting Operation that resulted to the arrest of 3 (Three) suspects namely: 1.) Mario Taro Panganuron, 56 years old, married, male, fisherman and a resident of Purok 2, Brgy Malintuboan, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte, 2.) Mark Louie Labrado Bartiana, 22 years old, single, construction worker and a resident of Purok 7, Brgy. Dansalan, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte and 3.) Jimmy Garay Banquiao, 30 years old, single, fisherman and a resident of Purok 7, Brgy. Dansalan, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte.
While 9 (nine) other companions identified as Josel Balverde, Cring2x Concha, Lolong Sumonglay, Talino Pito, April Pito, Randy Pito, Jeffrey Pito, Tog-tog Adeles and Jonathan Catubay that were managed to escape during the arrest.
Recovered from the possession of the suspects were: 2 fighting cocks (1 color red alive and 1 color white dead), 1 piece gaff and bet money amounting to ₱ 250.00.
All arrested suspects were temporarily under the custody of Labason MPS for proper disposition.
