Be informed that on November 2, 2020 at about 12:45 PM, 6 PNP personnel of Manukan Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PLT. NAJIB BARTIANA ALIP/DCOP, together with PSSg. Nelbert Atsoy Martinez/Intel PNCO, PSSg. Marcgil P. Mariño, PSSg. Julip A. Sumiwan, PCpl. Junryl D. Catipay, Pat Darwin S. Heramis, Intel Operatives conducted Intel driven operation on campaign against illegal cockfighting at Sitio Dapatan, Brgy. Don Jose Aguirre, Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte that resulted to the arrest of 4 (four) suspects identified as Hector Rivera Hisula, aka “nonoy”, 52 years old (DOB: April 13, 1968), male, married, College Graduate, Catholic, resident of Brgy. Linay, Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte, Simplecio Pangilinan Fernandez, aka “nonoy”, 58 years old (DOB: June 10, 1962), male, single, farmer, Elementary level, resident of Sitio Dapatan, Brgy. Don Jose Aguirre, Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte, Richard Falconite Bajamunde, aka “damaso”, 30 years old (DOB: September 11,1990), single, Elementary level, resident of Sitio Dapatan, Brgy. Don Jose Aguirre and Rolando Tiapez Caballida, aka “lando”, 65 yo (DOB: December 8,1954), male, widow, farmer, HS Level, Catholic, resident of Brgy. Linay, Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte while 11 other companions identified as; Glenbert Labrada, Antonio Dela Cruz, Nonoy Alinton, Dodot Benaglis, Jomar Sy, Ivan Nataa, Pedro Hernas, Doro Nonong, Angi Dancalan, Parekoy Recososa, Mokong Isgan, escaped during the raid.
Recovered from the possession of the suspects were as follows: 2 fighting cocks (1 dead and 1alive), 2 pcs. of gaffs, bet money amounting to ₱ 320 (in the following denominations; 2 pcs. of ₱ 100, 2 pcs. of ₱ 50, and 1 pc. of ₱ 20 bill).
Arrested suspects were temporarily under the custody of Manukan MPS for proper disposition.
