Be informed that at about 12:55 PM of Dec 27, 2020 one Jhon Erric Alfara of Brgy. Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte arrived at Tampilisan Municipal Police Station (MPS) and reported that a decomposing body was found at the canal of Sitio Sawmill, Brgy. Poblacion, Tampilisan Zamboanga del Norte.
Thereafter, PNP personnel of Tampilisan MPS led by PSMS. Nilo D Paipa with 2 other PNCOs in coordination with the Municipal Health Office of said municipality proceeded to the reported place.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that victim was identified as Julito Santander Morte 66 years old (Date of birth: April 20, 1954), male, married, businessman a resident of Sitio Sawmill, Brgy. Poblacion, Tampilisan, Zamboanga del Norte. Accordingly, victim was last seen on December 24, 2020 at about 9:00 -10:00 PM having drinking spree with his friends particularly at the billiard hall in front of the victim’s house.
PNP personnel of Tampilisan MPS is now coordinating with the SOCO to conduct autopsy examination to determine the cause of death.
Cadaver was already turned over to his immediate family.
