Report On Anti-Illegal Drug Operation (Buy-Bust) At Purok 3, Brgy. Balok, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte

Be informed that at about 3:09 PM of October 28, 2020, the office received a report from Katipunan MPS that at about 11:45 AM of same date, Joint Operation conducted by Katipunan Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PMAJ. VINCENT M. VIRTUDAZO РACOP together with intel operatives composed of PMSg. Dioscoro E. Ello РIntel, PNCO, PMSg. Noel E. Suliman РIntel, Investigator and PCpl. Reyzalde O. Malayo in joint operation from Sergio Osme̱a MPS led by PCPT. CLARK G. BACOLOD РOIC, together with PSSg. Philip G. Apat, PSSg. Noel S Acojedo, PSSg. Jeson C. Alegarbes and PCpl. Albreth O. Juanillo and with Personnel from PDEA-ZN Agent Fidel Calantog, Edward Neil Santander, Agent Jaime Pana, Agent Eduardo Bongad Jr Agent May Lagarnia and Agent Mary Lee Carreon conducted a Drug Buy-bust Operation at Purok 3, Brgy. Balok, Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte that resulted to the successful arrest of Avelino Sumambod Caballar, 42 y.o., DOB: April 7, 1978, male, married, Elementary Graduate, Jobless and a resident of Purok 3, Brgy. Balok, Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte.

Confiscated during the operation were 6 pcs. small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu; 2 pcs. medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing crushed dried leaves believed to be marijuana; 1 pc. crumpled Winston cigarette case as a container; 1 unit black cellular phone brand ITEL with sim card; and 1 pc. Of ₱ 500.00 bill with serial number KW458856 as Buy Bust money. Estimated weight of shabu is more or less Three (3) grams and have an estimated street value of Twenty Thousand Four Hundred pesos (₱ 20,400.00) while estimated weight of Marijuana is more or less Four (4) grams and have an estimated street value of Six Hundred pesos (₱ 600.00).

Arrested suspect is now placed under the custody of Katipunan MPS pending filing of appropriate charges in court while the confiscated items will be turned-over to the custody of the Zamboanga del Norte-Provincial Crime Laboratory for examination and for court exhibit.
