Arrest of Top 5 Most Wanted Person of Ramon Magsaysay, Arrested in Clarin
PNP personnel of Clarin Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with PHPT Misamis Occidental personnel, 2nd PMFC, 102nd RMFB10, Ramon Magsaysay Municipal Police Station and Tambulig Municipal Police Station conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at National highway of Purok 4 Barangay Mialen, Clarin, Misamis Occidental at about 3:00 PM of September 27, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Melchor Bañes Am-is a.k.a. Narciso, 53 years old, married, vendor, and a resident of Barangay Bobongan, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of alias warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder (Art. 246 of RPC) dated February 6, 1998 docketed under criminal case no. AZ-00-94-044, issued by Hon. Loreto C. Quinto, Presiding Judge, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur, with no bail bond recommended. He is now under custody of Clarin MPS for documentation and proper disposition.
Coast Guard Member, Arrested in Entrapment Operation in Veterans Avenue
PNP personnel of CIU-ZCPO, CIDMU-ZCPO, BASPIT and ZCPIT all from RIU 9 together with PCG9, PS7, CIDU9 and RHPU9 conducted entrapment operation at Krishatel Leisure Inn, Veterans Avenue Ext. Zamboanga City at 4:37 PM of September 27, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of ASN Aldasher I Anni, Coast guard member, assigned at Isabela City Basilan Coast Guard Station, 25 years old, male, married, a resident of Barangay Bongao, Siasi, Sulu. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, ASN Aldasher I Anni was allegedly extorting money to the applicants of PCG. The Subject is asking payment worth Php 85,000 as package deal in exchange for their immediate enlistment to the PCG. Recovered from his possession and control were the following: 2-thousand bill marked money; 1-Bundle of Boodle Money amounting to P132,000. Suspect and confiscated items was immediately brought to Zamboanga City Police Office for documentation and proper disposition in preparation for filing of appropriate charges in court.
Hostage Taking Incident
A hostage taking incident transpired at Gonzales drive, Campaner Street, Barangay Zone III, Zamboanga City at 2:53 AM of September 27, 2021. Victim was identified as Melodina Garcia y Jalon, 69 years old, female, widow, and a resident of the said place while suspect was identified as Alandoni Hajini y Hadjirul, 32 years old, male, temporary residing at 8th Street Southcom Village, Zamboanga City and a native of Karawan, Parang, Sulu. While at the scene, the suspect continued to warn the negotiators that no police personnel would go near them and if not he will harm the victim. Intense negotiation followed and suspect demanded to see and talk to his cousin a certain Wahid Ibba in which the team acceded and produced his cousin for continuous negotiation. While in the process, the team exposed and brought the suspect outside the resident of the victim for possible rescue. While negotiation continued, designated personnel were positioned and were ready for any eventuality until the suspect gave an opportunity to subdue and was finally pinned down with the help of other personnel on the ground. Recovered from his possession were 2 bolos without scabbard and 1 bolo measured without scabbard. Arrested suspect was immediately brought to Zamboanga City Police Station 11 while the victim is now undergoing medical treatment. Suspect is now temporary detained at Zamboanga City Police Station 11 detention pending filing of appropriate case in court.
Murder Suspect Arrested in Mabuhay
PNP personnel of Mabuhay Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with 1st Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Mobile Force Company, 903rd Maneuver Company-RMFB9 and 44th Infantry Battalion-PA conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Barangay Sioton, Mabuhay, Zamboanga Sibugay at 3:45 PM of September 27, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Sunny Dag-Uman, 50 years old, male, married, farmer and a resident of the said place. The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Attempted Murder, docketed under criminal case number IM-21-2305, issued by Hon. Jeric S. Kagaoan, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 31, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay, dated July 21, 2021, with ₱ 120, 000.00 bail bond recommended. He is now under the custody of Mabuhay MPS for proper disposition.
