Top 6 Most Wanted Person of Tampilisan, Arrested in Misamis, Occidental
PNP personnel of Tampilisan Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Calamba Municipal Police Station conducted joint manhunt operation at Purok 1, Bunawan, Calamba, Misamis Occidental at about 5:00 a.m. of May 9, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Rene Fuersas Libredo 38 years old, married, Glass Installer, a resident of Barangay Lumbayao, Tampilisan, Zamboanga del Norte and temporarily residing at Purok 1, Bunawan, Calamba, Misamis Occidental. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Judge Anthony D. T. Isaw, Acting Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 28, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte dated January 16, 2020 for the crime of Rape in relation to R.A. 7610 docketed under Criminal Case No. L-003880 without bail bond recommended. He was brought to Calamba Municipal Police Station for blotter and subsequently brought to Tampilisan MPS for proper disposition.
Top 9 Drug Personality of Zamboanga City Police Station 1, Arrested
Police operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 1 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Sitio Mialim, Barangay Vitali, Zamboanga City at about 2:00 p.m. of May 9, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Julius Falcasantos y Borce, 27 years old, male, married, mechanic, high school level, non 4Ps recipient and a resident of Logpond, Barangay Tictapul, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were four (4) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 1, 700.00 weighing 0.25 grams and two (2) pieces of ₱ 100.00 bills as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Stabbing Incident
A stabbing incident transpired at Purok 5, Barangay Biswangan, Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur 11:45 a.m. of May 9, 2021. Victim was identified as Dominador Becada Manginsay, 43 years old, male, married, farmer, and a resident of Purok 5, Barangay Biswangan, Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur while suspect was identified as Michael Timod Anggot, 42 years old, male, married, farmer, and a resident of the same place. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim and suspect were having a drinking session at the store of a certain Narciano Anggot. While on the course of their drinking session, a heated argument ensued between them. Later, the victim went home to avoid further trouble, however, the suspect followed him and stabbed him several times on his back, victim was able to run towards the downgrade portion of his house but suspect still followed him and stabbed again several times. The victim sustained several stabbed wounds on his body that resulted to his instantaneous death, while suspect fled towards the hilly portion of said place and threw the bladed weapon used. Responding PNP personnel of Lakewood Municipal Police Station conducted hot pursuit operation which resulted to the arrest of suspect. He is temporarily detained at the said police station while appropriate charge is now being prepared for filing in court against the suspect.
Stabbing Incident
A stabbing incident transpired at about 3:55 p.m. of May 9, 2021, at Purok 7, Barangay Bag-ong Kahayag, Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur. The victim was identified as Kent Cliford Alarao y Bahian, 19 years old, male, single, self-employed, and a resident of Purok 7, Barangay Bag-ong Kahayag, Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur, while the suspect was identified as Eustiquio Alarao y Mejaro, 52 years old, male, married, farmer, father of the victim, and resident of the same place. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the suspect, allegedly under the influence of liquor, went into the house of Roselyn Jimenez where the victim temporarily lives. While thereat, the suspect met his son and were having a conversation regarding the care and custody of rooster owned by the suspect. While on the course of their conversation, a heated argument ensued between them, prompting the latter to draw his bladed weapon and stab his son hitting his right chest. The victim was immediately brought by his relatives to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center, Barangay Dao, Pagadian City for medical treatment, while responding PNP personnel of Lakewood Municipal Police Station (MPS) arrested the suspect and seized from his possession one-unit bladed weapon used in the stabbing incident. The suspect is now temporarily detained at Lakewood MPS while an inquest case is being prepared for filing in court.
Shooting Incident
A shooting incident transpired at Masepla, Barangay Mampang , Zamboanga City at 9:20 p.m. of May 9, 2021. Victim was identified as Dante Candido y Baldon, 41 years old, male, married while suspect was identified as Welmar Pandaug y Jawari, 38 years old, male, married both are residents of Masepla, Barangay Mampang, Zamboanga City. Investigation revealed that prior to the incident, suspect went to the house of the victim and invited him to help him look for his wife who allegedly left their house together with another man. The victim followed the suspect and thereafter, he suddenly shot the victim using a cal. 38. Victim sustained lone gunshot wound on his upper right back and was rushed to Zamboanga City Medical Center for immediate treatment while suspect fled towards unknown direction. A hot-pursuit operation is presently being conducted by Zamboanga City Police Station 6 for the arrest of the suspect.
Fire IncidentÂ
A fire incident transpired at Brgy J.P. Brillantes, Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte at about 7:15 p.m. of May 9, 2021 involving a house made of light wooden materials owned by  Anita Osana Pasinabo, 60 years old married, farmer and a resident of the said place. Initial investigation conducted in coordination with the Fire Arson Investigator of BFP Siocon, revealed that at 7:10 pm of May 9, 2021, the fire started at the back portion of the said house and scattered to other areas. Further, the owner was in the farm during the incident. At 8:10 p.m. of the same date, BFP Siocon declared total fire out with no casualty reported. Estimated damage amounts to ₱ 150,000.00. The cause of fire is still undetermined.
Murder Suspect in Mahayag, Arrested in Ozamis City
PNP personnel of Mahayag Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with Ozamis City Police Station, RMFB 9 – 902nd Maneuver Company, Regional Intelligence Unit 9 and Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Intelligence Unit conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok Makiangayon, Barangay Tinago, Ozamiz City at 12:30 p.m. of May 9, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Felix Apiag Patagok, 67 years old, male, married, carpenter, and a resident of Purok Makiangayon, Barangay Tinago, Ozamiz City. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder, docketed under Criminal Case No. 2059, dated April 7, 1995 issued by Hon. Diosdado O. Arriesgado, Acting Presiding Judge of 11th Municipal Circuit Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur with no bail bond. He is now temporarily detained at Mahayag MPS while waiting for commitment order from the court.
Murder Suspect in Molave, Arrested in San Juan City
PNP personnel of Molave Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with Regional Special Operations Unit 4A conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Barangay Batis, San Juan City, Metro Manila at 12:40 p.m. of May 9, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jolito Macabinta Alcaria, 45 years old, single, construction worker, and a resident of Barangay Batis, San Juan City, Metro Manila. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Attempted Murder, docketed under Criminal Case No. 2017-10-3408 dated June 29, 2017 issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Executive/Presiding Judge, RTC, Branch 23, 9th Judicial Region, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur with recommended bail bond fixed at ₱ 30,000.00. He is temporarily detained at Camp V Lim Custodial Facility and will be transported to Molave MPS, Zamboanga del Sur for proper disposition.
Tricycle Driver Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Sto. Nino
PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Barangay Sto. Niño, Zamboanga City at about 3:00 p.m. of May 9, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Al Asrab Tiblani y Hussin, 44 years old, male, married, tricycle driver, high school graduate, and a resident of Barangay Sto. Niño, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were nine (9) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 51, 680.00 weighing 7.6 grams, one (1) coin purse and one (1) pc. of ₱ 500.00 bills as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
