Top 3 Most Wanted Person of Kabasalan, Arrested
Police operatives of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group – Basian Provincial Field Unit, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group – Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Field Unit, and elements of Kabasalan Municipal Police Station conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok 5, Barangay Concepcion, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay at 12:15 a.m. of May 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Waray Colasito a.k.a Jessie Bacalangco, of legal age, male and a resident of the said place. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder docketed under Criminal Case No. 5136, dated February 17, 2017, issued by Hon. Lauro A Castillo Jr, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 8th Judicial Region, Branch 36, Carigara, Leyte, with no bail bond recommended. He was brought to Criminal Investigation and Detection Group – Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Field Unit for documentation in preparation for the return of the writ to court of origin and process for service of his sentence.
Driver Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Polanco
PNP personnel of Polanco Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok Madaiton, Lingasad, Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte at about 8:00 p.m. of May 7, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jhobembo Cañete Auditor, male, 36 years old, married, driver, elementary level and a resident of Purok Madaiton, Barangay Lingasad, Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte. Confiscated during the operation were: one (1) piece small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Shabu (buy bust item), six (6) pieces small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Shabu (possession), one (1) five hundred (500) peso bill as buy-bust money, and one (1) piece cigarette foil served as container of items. All confiscated drug items have an estimated weight of three (3) grams and with estimated street value of twenty thousand four hundred pesos (₱ 20,400.00). He was brought to Polanco Municipal Police Station for documentation and thereafter referred to Zamboanga del Norte Medical Center for medical/physical examination and afterwards brought to PNP Crime Laboratory for drug testing together with the drug evidence for chemical examination. Furthermore, the said arrested suspect is now under the custody of Polanco MPS pending filing of appropriate charges in court.
Murder Suspect Arrested in Divisoria
Intel operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 5 conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Zone 1, Barangay Divisoria, Zamboanga City at 3:20 PM of May 7, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Rowel Soriano Faustino, 47 years old, male, married, high school graduate, resident of Zone 1, Barangay Divisoria, Zamboanga City. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for Frustrated Murder with Criminal Case No. 26394 and Attempted Murder with Criminal Case No. 26395 issued by Presiding Judge, Hon. Tibing A Asaali, 9th RTC, Br. 17, Zamboanga City dated February 13, 2012 with recommended bail bonds of ₱ 200,000.00 for Criminal Case No. 26394 and ₱ 120,000.00 for Criminal Case No. 26395. Accused is presently under the custody of the said police station prior turn over to court concerned.
