A fisherman was nabbed in a drug buy bust operation in Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte the other day, police report from Siocon claimed.
Police Regional Office 9 Spokesman, Capt. Edwin Duco claimed the Municipal Drug Enforcement Team of the Municipal Police Station together with the Provincial Mobile force conducted a buy bust operation at Barangay Bucana, Siocon at 10:30 in the evening the other day.
Duco identified the arrested suspect as Aberil Ibno Otih, 26 years old and a fisherman of the said barangay.
Confiscated during the operation were the following: one (1) piece small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected Shabu; two (2) pieces medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected Shabu with an estimated weight of 4.5 grams amounting to ₱ 38,700.00; three (3) pieces small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected Shabu; one (1) piece five hundred peso (₱ 500.00) bill as marked money; ten (10) pieces peso bill in different denominations; two (2) pieces disposable lighter; one (1) piece improvised straw; one (1) pc Aluminum foil; one (1) pc empty plastic used sachet; two (2) pieces white paper used as wrapper; and one (1) plastic box container.
A case for violation of sec. 5 and 11 of R.A. 9165 was being readied for filling at Provincial Prosecutor office against the suspect, Duco concluded. (PRO9 Public Information Office)
