Be very conscientious. This was the reminder of Brigadier General Rolando Miranda, director Police Regional Office – 6 (PRO-6), to the personnel of the Provincial Crime Laboratory in Negros Occidental.

Miranda visited the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) headquarters here yesterday to inspect the crime laboratory.

Miranda expressed his confidence in the professionalism of the personnel in carrying out their mandate.

He, however, reminded the crime lab personnel that they should be conscientious in following the procedures particularly those that may affect the drug cases being handled by the operating units.

Lieutenant Abegael Donasco, NOCPPO’s Deputy Public Information Officer, said that Miranda told cops to do what is right, as it will lead them to reach their goal in career advancement.

Donasco said that Miranda reminded the lab personnel to refrain from giving statements that could hamper or affect the procedure of the investigation. “Kailangan daw na ayusin ang trabaho,” she added.

Prior to the inspection, Miranda joined the NOCPPO personnel, along with Colonel Romy Palgue, NOCPPO Director, in a four-minute exercise at the provincial police headquarters. (Glazyl Masculino via tdg, photo by tdg)
