Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City – KAPA Community Ministry International founder Apolinario has been handed down another two arrest warrants in Cagayan de Oro City last Sunday, June 20.
Police Regional Office 13 Regional Director BRIGADIER GENERAL ROMEO M. CARAMAT JR. stated that personnel of Taganaan Municipal Police Station served additional warrant of arrest to Joel Abatonon Apolinario, male, 47 years old, married, who is currently detained in Lumbia City Jail-Male Dormitory in Brgy. Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City.
Both warrants are for the crime of Swindling (Estafa) as defined and penalized under Article 315 of the Revised Penal Code under criminal case number 15216 issued by Regional Trial Court, Tenth Judicial Region, Branch 32, San Jose, Surigao del Norte with and criminal case number 15415 issued by Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 29, Surigao City, Surigao del Norte with a total of ₱ 240,000 recommended bail at ₱ 120,000 each case for his temporary liberty.
To recall, Apolinario founded KAPA, who swindled millions of money from the people in his criminal activities nationwide was arrested last July 21, 2020 at a private resort in Lingig, Surigao del Sur by PNP-Caraga, Philippine Coastguard and Philippine Army and confiscated several high powered firearms.
