In consonance to the marching order of the District Commander of Coast Guard District Northeastern Mindanao CG COMMO LUISITO S SIBAYAN MPA to rigorously implement the recently issued Executive Order No. 21-029 by the Provincial Governor of Surigao del Norte, Coast Guard Station Surigao del Norte headed by the Station Commander CG CDR. ELAINE R. PANGILINAN immediately intensified the enforcement thru the simultaneous conduct of Coastal Security Patrol (CSP) and Seaborne Patrol Operations within the AOR last Friday, 13 August 2021.
The simultaneous patrol operation aims to further enhance and showcase PCG visibility within the AOR in order to deter any unlawful individuals and illegal entrants particularly in the coastal areas which serves as “backdoors” for their entry in the Province of Surigao del Norte.
CG CDR. PANGILINAN urged the general public specifically the coastal barangays to be vigilant at all times and immediately report to proper authorities any suspicious individuals who are visiting their area without possessing any valid documentary requirements in order prevent the spread of COVID-19 as well as the newly discovered Delta Variants in the Province.
