The relief goods consist of 310 boxes of canned sardines, 210 boxes of which will be distributed in the CARAGA Region and 100 boxes in Region VIII. This will help suffice food supplies, particularly to those who were displaced as a result of the devastation, which also resulted in casualties.

The rapid flood caused havoc on coastal towns not only in the Caraga Region but also in other parts of Leyte, in Region VIII, forcing residents to flee to designated evacuation camps and abandon their homes.
