In view of the successful implementation of the “Oplan Away COVID-19’s STRATEGY NO. 1: Strengthening Provincial Preparedness and Response Against COVID-19,” which we have started to implement since 18 March 2020 (making our Province COVID-19 free as of to date) up to the present vis-a-vis the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines, we are now introducing our “Oplan Away COVID-19’s STRATEGY NO. 2: Mass Testing and Isolations.”
STRATEGY NO. 2 would lead us to isolate and manage the care for those who will be suspected to have infected with COVID-19 (knock on wood) at our Barangay/City/Municipal/Provincial Isolation Units and/or Quarantine Facilities so as to separate those who are 100% not infected with COVID-19.
After isolating those who will be suspected to have infected with COVID-19 (knock on wood) from those who are 100% COVID-19 free, we will then introduce our “Oplan Away COVID-19’s STRATEGY NO. 3: Surigao del Norte Away COVID-19 and Other Pandemic Economic Strategy,” which will be focusing on Agriculture & Aquaculture, Export Processing and Tourism Rebranding.”
