First district councilor Khymer Olaso officially announced his bid for Congressman of the first district Thursday at his residence located at barangay Ayala.
The announcement was made together with his party mates known as “Team Colorao” headed by former Congressman Celso Lobregat.
Said team is composed of three political parties PDP Laban, Laban ng Demokratikong Pilipino, and Adelante Zamboanga.
Olaso said, he is ready and prepared to serve in a higher capacity.
His plans includes: establishment of hospital in the west coast, public cemetery, and housing for the poor.
He is currently in his first term as a councilor for the first district. The councilor is also a ship Captain.
Recall, the team already announced their bet for Vice Mayor BG Guingona, Olaso for congress district 1 and for congress district 2 Jerry Perez. All of them are incumbent councilors.
By next, week the group will announce their council slate which will complete their line-up before the filling of Certificate of Candidacy by October in preparation for the 2022 national and local elections.
