4 swab test results were received earlier, yielding 3 negative and unfortunately, 1 positive.
The 39th case of the Province is a 45 year-old female and a resident of Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte. She was the direct contact of the wife of the “44 year-old Male” referred to as the “2nd case of Sibuco” as per Facebook post of RHU Sibuco who was also COVID-19 Positive. The 44 year-old Male and his wife were counted in the tally of COVID-19 of Zamboanga City since they are residents of the city.
Px39 is currently stable and already in quarantine even before her swab test result was released. Contact Tracing is still on-going, and barangays where the Patients’ homes were located were immediately placed under lockdown including the nearby barangays. STRICTLY NO IN and OUT within the borders.
With this being reported, this is the first case of local transmission in the Province of Zamboanga del Norte.
