The Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte (PGIN) has increased its COVID-19 Business Rehabilitation Projects to provide more economic opportunities for micro-businesses that are still struggling because of the continuing pandemic.

Earlier this week, the Ilocos Norte Trade and Investment Promotions Center (INvest) began taking applications for its Livelihood Assistance Program, a “Pay Out Now, Work Later” concept that intends to provide monetary support to licensed microbusiness owners and employees.

Eligible businesses are those whose operations were suspended under the localized Enhanced Community Quarantine imposed in the previous month, particularly personal care services, entertainment venues, and other establishments specified in the guidelines.
