Police personnel of Butuan City Police Station (CPS) and Tabina Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted law enforcement operation against wanted person at Purok-12 Tinago, Brgy. Lumbokan, Butuan City at about 12:40 PM of September 21, 2020. This resulted to the arrest of Romnick Eslit Mendez, 21 years old, male, with live-in partner, and a resident of District Guiwanon, Brgy. Baganian, Tabina.
He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Rape docketed under criminal case number 2020-031 issued by Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 29, 9th Judicial Region, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur dated March 12, 2020 without bail bond recommended.
He is now temporarily detained at Butuan CPS and to be turned over to Tabina MPS for proper disposition. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
