Police operatives of Dapitan City Police Station conducted Intel driven operation at Brgy. Dawo, Dapitan City at about 5:10 PM of November 16, 2020. The operation resulted in the arrest of Eleuterio Villa Obordo, 72 years old, male, married, a resident of Brgy. Polo, Dapitan City.
This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of “Qualified Rape (5 counts), rape under Art. 266-a, and Para 2 as amended by RA 8353 in relation to sec. 5 (b), Art. iii of RA 7610” docketed under Criminal Case Nos. 24298, 24299, 24300, 24301, 24302, 24303 and 24304 issued by Acting Presiding Judge of RTC9, Branch 7, Dipolog City dated November 3, 2020 with bail bond recommended amounting to ₱ 120, 000.00 each case for Criminal Cases Nos. 24300 & 24303 and no bail recommended on the remaining five criminal cases.
He is now under the custody of Dapitan City Police Station for proper disposition.
