Police personnel of Alicia Municipal Police Station (MPS) and BFAR personnel conducted coastal patrol at sea vicinity of Brgy. Bagong Buhay, Alicia in Zamboanga Sibugay at about 1:30 PM of November 16, 2020.
This resulted to the confiscation of one fishing boat locally known tapsay 16 HP Yamada engine, 70 meters fine mesh net with an estimated amount of Fifty Thousand (₱ 50,000) with six crews, identified as Regan Duhaylungsod, 38 years old, married; Lito Dumaguit, 41 years old, married; Judy Dumaguit, 24 years old, married; Jimmy Daligdig, 22 years old, married; Felix Lucion, 21 years old, single, and Gener Repoylo, 31 years old, married, all resident of Brgy. Poblacion, Alicia, Zamboanga Sibugay. Said fishing boat was caught in the act fishing illegally at sea vicinity of Brgy. Bagong Buhay, Alicia.
Confiscated items were now under the custody of Alicia MPS for proper disposition.
