LGU Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony For P128M – Potable Water System Project

As part of efforts to provide access to safe and potable water to families, the Local Government Unit of Claver (LGU) held earlier today, August 23, the groundbreaking ceremony for the New Potable Water System at Brgy. Daywan, Claver, Surigao del Norte.

The Water System is capable of supplying 5 million liters of water a day with a an estimated total of 24,718 consumers in five (5) identified barangays, namely, Daywan, Ladgaron, Bagakay, Tayaga, and Magallanes. The target completion of this ₱ 128M project is of year 2022.

“Congratulations to LGU Claver for being first in this kind of water system in Caraga, where multiple filters will be used,” Vice Governor Engr. Geed Gokiangkee expressed.

Other than Vice Governor Geed, the said ceremony was attended by Hon. Mayor Georgia D. Gokiangkee together with other Municipal and Barangay officials and former Mayor Eddie P. Gokiangkee.
