Police operatives of Sirawai Municipal Police Station together with 905th RMFB9 conducted joint law enforcement operation against illegal drugs at Brgy. Dona Cecilia Sirawai Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:15 PM of August 20, 2020. This resulted to the arrest of Jerry Pitak Abunawas, 38 years old, male, married, carpenter and resident of aforementioned place.
Recovered during the operation were five (5) sachets of suspected shabu with estimated ddb value of 4,500.00; five hundred pesos (Php 500.00) as marked money. Also recovered from the suspect were one (1) unit caliber .45 pistols; one (1) magazine loaded with seven (7) live ammunition of cal. 45; and one rifle grenade. Arrested suspect is now under the temporary custody of Sirawai Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
